Embossing and Foil Stamping

Debossing

Embossing changes the physical dimensions of paper to add an elegant and eye-catching graphic element.

Text and coverstocks can both be molded using heat, pressure and an embossing die. The process stretches and reshapes the paper fibres, creating a textural effect and setting the communication apart by adding a third dimension.

These were produced in Australia using a local A1 sheet printer from our extensive network of suppliers.

Beautiful Wedding Invitations

We love to be challenged here at Pictura – especially with something as special and personal as a wedding invitation for one of our clients.

The brief was to “make it special and make it happen asap!”

The theme was rustic with a nautical feel.

Each wedding invitation was made up of four parts. The main invitation was in the shape of a passport along with a details card, map and a RSVP card. For the passport and details card we suggested a beautiful stock for DW Doggets called Rives Design. The images go only part of the way of capturing how beautiful they turned out.  They show the beauty of the imaging but not the quality of the touch.

Biofinity Dream Campaign

We recently managed another print media project for our client CooperVision. The brief was to support the launch of their new ‘Biofinity Contact Lenses range’.

This is not your standard print job – what CooperVision required was numerous point of sale items from large format posters, tent cards, to the more specialised counter mats, all with varying quantities and finishing options. The creative was revised and developed for the Australian market. Using our extensive printing knowledge, Pictura selected suitable digital printing and offset printing methods to highlight the artwork, resulting in a high quality print project, delighting the client and bringing the project in on budget and time.
